How it works
Create a custom Shopify app
In Shopify Admin go to Apps → Develop apps → Create an app. Under Admin API access, add the read_products scope (plus write_products if you want description write-back). Install the app and copy the Admin API access token.
Connect & test
In AuthorityStack.ai, open Product Catalog and click Import from Shopify. Enter your .myshopify.com domain and access token. Click Test Connection — we'll verify your credentials and show your store name.
Sync your catalog
Click Sync Catalog. All your Shopify products are imported into the Product Catalog and every product URL is automatically added to Citation Scanning. Re-sync any time — existing products update without duplication.
Scan & push back
Run AI Citation Scans and Shopping Presence checks on each product. When you have a GEO-optimized description ready, click Push to Shopify to write it back to the product's body_html — all without leaving AuthorityStack.ai.

Cursor-based pagination
Handles stores of any size — products are fetched in batches of 250 using Shopify's cursor-based pagination, not page offsets.
