Does my Wix site need the Blog app installed?

Yes. AuthorityStack publishes through the Wix Blog API, so the Blog app needs to be installed on the site you connect. If it isn't, the connection test will tell you.

Is my Wix API key stored securely?

Your API key is stored in the database and never sent back to the browser. The connections list always shows it masked. Revoke access any time by deleting the key at manage.wix.com/account/api-keys – it stops working immediately.
