Do I need to write code to use this?

Yes – unlike the named CMS integrations, there's no platform to authenticate into. You (or your developer) write a small endpoint that receives the POST request, verifies its signature, and does whatever you want with the article: save it, forward it, queue it for review.

How do I connect a webhook to AuthorityStack.ai?

Paste your endpoint URL, test it, and save. AuthorityStack generates a signing secret for you – shown once, right after you connect – which your endpoint uses to verify incoming deliveries.

How do I verify a delivery actually came from AuthorityStack.ai?

Every request includes an X-Webhook-Signature header formatted as sha256= , an HMAC-SHA256 of the exact JSON body using your signing secret. Recompute that hash on your end and compare it to the header – if they match, the request is genuine.

What's in the payload?

A JSON object with the article's title, Markdown, pre-rendered HTML, meta description, and feature image URL (if one was generated), plus an event name and delivery timestamp. There's nothing to publish or fetch separately – everything you need is in the one payload.

Is my signing secret stored securely?

Your secret is stored in the database and never sent back to the browser after the one-time reveal on creation. The connections list always shows it masked. Delete the connection any time to invalidate it immediately.
